Ambuja Cements has appointed Neeraj Akhoury as its new managing director and chief govt officer with impact from 21 February, 2020, the corporate stated in a press launch. Akhoury shall be taking up from Bimlendra Jha, who resigned with impact from 20 February, 2020, to pursue different pursuits.

Akhoury was managing director and chief govt officer of ACC Limited since February, 2017. He has 27 years of robust expertise throughout a number of roles together with gross sales and advertising, logistics, company affairs together with company social duty, technique and enterprise growth, the corporate stated.

N.S.Sekhsaria, chairman, Ambuja Cements, stated within the launch: “We are pleased to have Neeraj take over the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Ambuja Cements reported an 8% rise in consolidated internet revenue within the October-December 2019 quarter, as income elevated and prices stayed in examine.
